Oil Pressure Switch Information

 

Single wire Oil Pressure connector (above). If it does not plug into the sensor you have on your engine, it is most likely because the 3 pin sensor on your engine will not work with your oil pressure gauge. The easiest solution is to replace the 3 wire sensor with a single wire sending unit from a 1999-2002 Silverado 1500 5.3L (below). This sender should thread in to the LS block properly, and work with your vehicles instrument cluster.
